Best travel tips for travel ball season

Posted on August 16 2018

Hey everyone, it's that time of year again and TRAVEL BALL is back in session! So TheGluv team has put together a few travel tips to make this the best season ever!

Girls Softball Socks

1. Always keep a spare... we're not talking about tires.

We get it, traveling can be very exhausting and not to mention expensive. But things happen... Which is why we recommend always traveling with an extra pair of softball pants or softball socks. The last thing you want to be doing during your time away from home is LAUNDRY! Especially if you or your players will be gone for an extended period of time. Plus you can always save a couple of buck by being enrolled in TheGluv Club! That way you can always get 10% off your in-store or online orders.

2. Make a list, AND check it twice!

The last thing you want to be doing is driving around a city you're not familiar with to find a store that's still open. So make sure to make a master list of all the things you need to take with you. The most common things that are often forgotten are toiletries, snacks, medication and your extra Gluv gear.

3. Don't forget to eat & stay hydrated!

Softball tournaments can be crazy exhausting and long. But, more often than not people forget to eat, and most importantly stay hydrated. Be sure to research all the different places in the area and make a schedule so you and your players are well nourished for their next game!

Always carry a refillable water bottle with you so you never have to go without water. Those hotel lobby water bottles can get pretty pricy and we all know you can't just get one thing when you go to 7-11.

4. Have FUN!!!

Be sure to make some family memories! These are the times to enjoy with your family and friends so make the best of it and go on an Adventure! You never know what you'll find!
